What a small world. I was driving south on 170 with my wife at that same time. We luckily were right before the exit to the Galleria when the hail started. We quickly ducked into their parking garage until the tornado had passed.

Normally I’m not a commenter, but reading this article made me cringe harder and harder as the article went on. Never have I seen someone so self confident in the decisions they made that are potentially going to ruin their own life. She was so happy to tell us how anti trans she was and still is, but she complains that her anti trans advocacy is now leading to discrimination against her. Truly a prefect leopard eating face moment. Hell, it seems like she still supports the leopard, despite her head being in it’s mouth.
Me too, it makes me so irrationally angry.

I don’t believe that theory. How does an ISP impact the functionality of a voting machine, especially when they have paper copies of the ballots? It’s not like they were running SpaceX software on the machine, just using it as an Internet connection to report results to a centralized database. Conspiracies like this are what we fought against in 2020, when the QAnon fools thought Hugo Chavez and Dominion stole the election from Trump.
Potentially a reference to the Winged Hussars?

It’s not cool to generalize a whole region like that. You act as if the whole Midwest is a hive mind.

FTA: “As per FlightGlobal, the FAA’s proposal is the latest in a series of regulatory actions that have been taken in response to the discovery of iron inclusion in several types of GE Aerospace engines, including the GEnx and CFM International Leap turbofans. The GEnx powers Boeing 787 aircraft, while the Leap powers Boeing 737 Max and Airbus A320neo-family aircraft.”

Seems like the title is a bit deceptive. It mentions multiple airliners from both Boeing and Airbus, that are potentially in need of having engine components replaced, due to defects introduced by GE Aerospace.
I’ve worked for a Steel Company in that part of Arkansas before. In my experience what drove companies to move there were:
Wages weren’t really bad from what I remember. Many jobs starting at $80k, with good production bonus incentives. Though the work was often very physical with long working hours.
