Just started House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski yesterday.
Finding it a little difficult to get into at the moment but will stick at it based on the book’s great reputation.
With reference to Will Destroy The Galaxy For Cash, all of Yahtzee Croshaw’s books are excellent.
Have you read any of his non Jacques McKeown books? Jam is particularly weird, you’d love it.
Incidentally, I literally just finished the last Jacques McKeown book, Will Leave The Galaxy For Good, yesterday.
It’s a very nice end to the trilogy and based on the subject matter, very prescient for these days.

3·3 years agoBy the way, I think Mac OS Leopard is the most up to date OS that’ll install and run on the old Power PC Macs.

It’s not directly in the 3 dots at the top right of the post in the main feed but if you click on the community you’ll have the block option within there.
Yeah, I reckon you’re correct and the option will be back eventually. I know you can block from the website but it was so convenient having it as an option right on the post.
Nope, unfortunately that option is now gone from the TestFlight version.
I’m hoping they bring it back because it was incredibly useful and made the use of Lemmy much more manageable and enjoyable.

Drives me insane. It’s not just on Lenny, I see it everywhere where people can’t use the correct to, too or two or there, their or they’re.
It seems to have gotten worse over the last few months for me or maybe I’m becoming less tolerant of it. Rant over.
I’ve read the first two of the Slough House series of books, but because I’m really enjoying the tv adaptation I’ve decided to watch through the tv show first until they complete before restarting the book series.
