Yet another Reddit refugee.

Eight dollars a month.

I’m a little hesitant for big growth, came with the first wave of Redditors back when the news was fresh, but I’m trying to be optimistic. More people means more content, after all.
I also miss the niche subs, and ngl also my snoovatar, he was a nice little guy.
I leave for like two days and shit’s going on without me

This is mystifying to watch.

History in the making, baby!

Rest in Peace.
Twitter’s dead to me anyway. Moving here is definitely the push for me to finally stop going on that site, was totally tanking my mental health.

I’m liking it, and anticipating its growth – with both trepidation and excitement. It’s unpolished but I don’t mind that all too much. Trying to engage as much as I can.

In 2010, Digg updated their site to v4, and that didn’t go over well with a lot of people. Tons moved to Reddit. I wasn’t there, so this is just a very short rundown.

I also wasn’t born early enough to experience the rise of Internet forums. I was a late Reddit adopter, only jumping on in 2020. It is fascinating and exciting to be experiencing this in real time. Even if this isn’t an instant and drastic shift, it’s still a part of Internet history in the making.
I want to hug him. So bad.
