    i noticed today that the snowdrops are coming up in my yard, reviews of my previous years, it’s 20 days early. The bugs are going to be a nightmare this year. The pine beetles are surely going to move south much further than before. Unless we have a good two weeks constant freeze, those beetles don’t die and they will kill a lot of pine trees and those pine trees will burn the next wildfire… I’m glad I didn’t have children. I hope the resources they didn’t consume will help you who did.

      Also no children, and also glad. I’m in my 60s, living in the same city where I grew up, but the weather isn’t the same — it’s hotter and dryer in the summer, warmer and less snowy in the winter. Occurs to me typing this, haven’t seen a snowflake yet this winter, and it’s February. There used to be reliably a few days of at least a few inches.

      Ah, but climate change is a hoax, they say…
