    My Dad tells me some American products are cheaper and better quality than Canadian ones at the stores here in Canada. Strawberries was the example he used

      Nobody is buying them and the stores have to drop the prices or watch them rot on the shelf.

      Absolutely not for quality. At least for strawberries the US ones have no taste, but BC strawberries are some of the most delicious I’ve ever had. The real difference is the California ones are available year-round. The quality is so bad though I just go with frozen the rest of the year
