Hey guys I like fringe but it’s too hetero.
It’s scifi/time travel etc… I am soo interested in time travel. Please help!
Modern Doctor Who has lots of time travel and quite a few queer characters. Its spinoff series Torchwood has a gay main character.
a [1] gay main character
You are selling that show EXTREMELY short lol
Could be! Has been well over a decade since I watched it, so I couldn’t even name any characters other than Captain Jack.
(Ianto silently weeping, having been forgotten)
They all have a touch of the fruitiness at least ;D (Touch Of The Fruitiness, Jack’s garage band)

Just not a single gay person or similar. Not even in the background. And soooo much heteromance
Cis/straight guy here, hope my comments are welcome.
Jasika Nicole, who played Astrid on Fringe, is queer, and was frustrated that her character was never fully developed beyond having her name misremembered. She took it as a kind of erasure, which I totally get.
This of course doesn’t remove or solve your issues with the show, but it does remain one of my favorites despite the production issues of the cast not getting along.
Should I ever get a tattoo, it’ll be a white tulip. Be sure you watch that episode if you’re giving up on the show.
Literally Star Trek Discovery and Strange New Worlds. Discovery is extremely gay, like almost too gay, which is ideal.
Alex Kurtzman created Discovery, SNW, and Fringe, so I’m sure it’s right up your alley aesthetics-wise. I had never seen/watched anything Star Trek-related before Discovery, so don’t feel daunted if you don’t know any background lore.
