I have an old ass webcam that only connects by a USB, and I haven’t connected to my computer in an eternity. The only other camera is on my phone, and I make sure it is never pointing at anything I don’t want people to see if it was hacked.

This is why you don’t use IoT cameras or leave ports forwarded to IP cameras. Leave it off the internet or use a VPN.

Yeah having closed captions on really helps when most of the time these things don’t have a really good microphone… the increase in Ai really has helped bring closed captions to CCTV and its one thing it really has improved…
