I hear his long-term plan includes racing Usain Bolt when he’s 75 and Paul is 64.

Anyone can edit Wikipedia is a false belief. There are moderators who monitor popular posts from being edited. These moderators are usually from PR management companies who spend a lot of time editing pages to appear legit and also sell their services for a fee.

So, NO, anyone cannot edit it or even add factual data without the approval of a “moderator” who may be awfully biased at not letting bad comments about their clients publicized.

The founder himself is not hiding his bias. It’s always been used as political and commercial PR by politicians and companies but with a cover of being an “Encyclopedia”. Just like how many NGOs are fronts for government intelligence agencies.

If you want to prove me wrong, go ahead and give it a try and let’s see how long that “edit” lasts.

          Yep. Anyone can “edit” wikipedia.

But the vast majority of edits by new users are reverted within a day.

I say this as someone with thousands of wikipedia edits myself, I talk from experience.

Most of the pages (especially politicised ones), have a couple senior users with vested interests continually monitoring it and changing back anything they don’t agree with.

      1. I guess a wikipedia volunteer decided to classify him as that, and maybe another agreed.

      2. No idea. I guess it would entail trying to prove that he setup, paid and that the fights were mostly scripted.

He has only has 13 fights, hopefully the Joshua fight will finally show him up. ‘win’ or lose.

There’s nothing scripted about the fights. He just only fights people he knows he can handily beat because of his size and youth. I don’t like Paul, but the whole “the fights are fixed” narrative is silly (and entirely devoid of evidence). He’s a hack who only fights people who are ancient, retired, or not even fighters to begin with like basketball player Nate Robinson. He doesn’t have to fix these fights; they’re just that overwhelmingly booked in his favor.

Also, this entire topic gives him exactly what he wants: attention for his rage-baiting clout-chasing career.

In what way? You mean the way Paul didn’t completely massacre him in round 1 even though he could’ve? That’s how exhibitions work. Paul was showing restraint because they wanted to put on a show. Tyson had zero chance of winning that fight so Paul carried him for a few rounds. That isn’t a “fixed” fight. “Fixed” means the outcome was agreed upon before the fight, but that isn’t what happened.

You might’ve seen one too many movies if you think Tyson was going to win that fight. Vegas odds were Paul +249 to Tyson -190.

“I do not like Jake Paul and therefore Jake Paul could not have won the fight legitimately” isn’t evidence that the fight was fixed. Paul was fighting a man 31 years his senior and several inches shorter. It’s not rocket science. Everyone (including me) wanted Tyson to knock Paul out, but this isn’t Hollywood.

You keep telling yourself that. Tyson barely threw a punch.

Kid yourself all you want, but don’t try and contaminate the rest of the world with your nonsense.

Tyson reportedly interested in Turki Alalshikh’s offer, never got a reply from Jake Paul.
