A few weeks ago, I made a small Android launcher for my parents. They used to find their phones overwhelming — too many icons, gestures, and pop-ups. I wanted to give them something calm and clutter-free.
The result is Senior Home – Easy Launcher:

Could be a non-native speaker using an LLM to translate with a specific tone
The pictures of the people look generated too, so it seems likely the same person would generate text too.

And remove the in-app purchases.
This is exactly something I would like to install on my grandma’s phone, but does it have translations builtin? I am asking for Croatian specifically.
I forgot how good text on buttons is. Fuck trying to remember every stupid app or function icon

Based on the images it looks really good! My grandpa recently got a new phone and I’ve been wondering whether he should use something like this. He can easily get overwhelmed and lost in the interface, and struggles with misinputs/inputs not registering. Giant, easy to read buttons on the home screen would make it so much easier for him I think.

Looks good and I love that it is offline without ads and trackers.
It’s something I would definitely consider installing for my mum with the caveat that I’d like to see the source published.
Idk about other versions of android but Samsung phones have a setting called easy mode that does this too
