I’ve watched a lot more Holiday Baking Championship this year than I have college football. So when I was at lunch earlier, and they had the peach bowl on, it took me a second to remember that he does cfb too.

Exactly. There’s never been twelve teams I thought deserved a chance to play for a title, but there’s been 5-7 before. 12 makes sure those teams always make it and keeps more teams (and fans) interested later in the regular season. The initial BCS 1v2 game marked the fatal cut to the old bowl system; it just took time to bleed out.

I give Sark credit for building the lines. Usually these offensive wizards focus on the skill positions and their strengths aren’t in building top O-line and D-line (Riley!). He started off right and was prepared for SEC ball while the rest of big12 stayed small.
