You can’t fault the British Broadcasting Corporation for making a poor acronym choice back in 1922. Just look at Ayds, the weight reducing diet supplement.
But I can absolutely fault them for picking a domain name in 2023 that uses that same acronym

I’m suggesting that “social.bbc” looks like a website for hookups
They’re already being accused of being transphobic, even though BBC’s research and development has nothing to do with any of that stuff.
