People on reddit always make the assumption that bots are all going to be angry divisive posts or posts advertising products but this is by far the most common form of reddit bot I see: the kind that just posts a bunch of one sentence generic positivity comments for easy upvotes where every post has the exact same grammatical format. My favorite is when like four of them post in the same thread with barely reworded versions of the same comment. I’ve gotten a good read on them at this point and I notice them constantly.

Pretty much no company is going to go to court for you, best thing to do is act with the assumption they won’t.

Meanwhile a guy who does nothing but try to convince retail store employees to tell him about their retail uniforms so he can jerk off to it manages to make new accounts every day for years. Why can’t you fix THAT, Reddit?

I don’t really understand the appeal of reddit as an investment vehicle anyway. Social media is notoriously unprofitable. Reddit only recently managed to get there after how many years??

It’s because the old guard Democrats only offer “we aren’t Trump I guess!” and spend half their time chastising their own voting base for not doing enough for them. While they were sitting there during Trump’s speech doing their little sign thing with only one of them being willing to get thrown out, they were asking for donations. People get tired of that.

Same here, I requested it to be turned off and they said no.

The only major pain point I had with Jellyfin was getting it on my Samsung TV yes. It is absolutely not a good recommendation for people with Samsungs unless they’re willing to get their hands very dirty. To some degree though that’s exactly why this should be more alarming: the current administration ISN’T just doing this to easy targets they know the population will ignore. Well we have some standards …like they forced Musk to put mirrors on the Cybertruck, because Elon wanted to make it without mirrors and just use cameras.

If the Cybertruck gets water into the door (y’know, like from rain) it’s pretty common for the doors to also just open themselves whenever the fuck.

LLMs are heavily training on other LLM output at this point because the internet is flooded with it. So if people are running tons of bot farms with right wing bullshit, it’s going to get trained on more and more of that.

LLMs were always doomed to train themselves on the slop and that’s sort of why they’re unsalvageable.

GSUS doesn’t do anything and doesn’t even intend to do anything until they get six million people signed up on their website, then won’t actually strike until 11mil, 6mil is just when they intend to decide what they might do. They’ve been doing nothing for a few years now and some of their main organizers believe shit like the magic vibrations from crystals can be effective for DIY abortions. It’s a joke.
