Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•When you see gooner bait here after coming from reddit
10·18 days agoI am unsure if you are asking this seriously, or if this is supposed to be a joke…
but oh well, gooning is a term used to describe masturbation of an individual where they are so much into the practice where it becomes part of their daily life style, you could call it addiction, the term transformed partially into meaning just the act of masturbation.
So Gooner bait, is an image, video, gif, text, etc. which purpose is to arouse someone and more specifically make them want to engage/interact with something, if it is a game they would want to play it, if it is a post they would want to comment or react to it in some way.
Specifically on this platform and on reddit it is usually a post of an attractive person/character which looks feminine (do note that it doesn’t have to be a cis woman) which is designed to bait the viewer to interact with the post, maybe a comment (maybe you have seen such a post with “reply XYZ and get a pic”) or a click unto OPs link which leads to a website where they could see the full (i.e. uncensored or fully pornographic something) sometimes through a paywall, sometimes to mine crypto coins, sometimes to show the person ads; and sometimes all of the above.
On lemmy and this community specifically it is usually some sort of homoeopathically sexual post so that OP can get some engagement for the “number go up” feeling.
If the comment was intended as a joke I do apologise for this lengthy comment, if it was sincere I should note that this explanation is based on purely my understanding

And I would like to refer you to https://www.urbandictionary.com/ which is a useful tool to try and understand some slang used.

57·2 months agoI do not know about whatever institution the person above is talking about. However where I am at the moment you can use LLMs as a source, the citing of that is long and painful bit you could do it. I should note that it is heavily frowned upon by others to use generative ai, so most people I know use it as a summaryziation tool.

7·4 months agoIts a word play, like incel (being involuntary celibate), but despite the word being a shortening soon enough internet gave birth to femcel. This had the same meaning as incel but for women, or more accurately female. Although the original in theory could be used for anyone it became a more or less 4chan exclusive (as in you are using 4chan -> you are an incel).
That all being context, now a words with a XYZcel structure became used to say marginalized (not necessary, but the person using it believes it true) community with some core identifying mark.
Freedomcel by that logic means a marginalized group of people who like freedom.
Why would you do something like that to them crabs?
Be nice to them, however when a person does not follow safety protocols time for niceties is over. Safety rules, protocols and et cetera are written with the blood of those who either did not knew them, or those who refused to follow them.
In skyrim there is an item which the moment you pick up a voice says “a new hand touched the beacon” or something like that and this starts a quest with a lot of foot work yet a shitty reward
An evil sinner for sure, for she commits the sin of empathy on a daily basis
Depending on how you define it, and by what set of moral rules. In my own set of coordinates, probably yes
Not cool, not all Austrians are evil, my Sister for example is a very empathetic person

Then I am happy to have helped you!
