There’s a blood pressure medication that has the positive side effect of treating phobias and anxieties
Sorta seems like you’re putting the cart before the horse here…
Honestly, there is hope for that. I feel like we’re all forgetting the anti-SJW YouTube pipeline that happened to Gen Z when they were around 16 (around 8-12 years ago now) and a lot of them grew out of that.

Literally looks like the “obviously evil” propaganda movie at the start of Helldivers 2

It feels like the “this” in question is likely the golden globe awards, where he was being interviewed.
This is basically Catholicism, right?
“I crashed my car while I was learning, too, it all turned out alright” to a kid who had just had a collision outside my house with a parked car (not mine). He seemed to be taking it pretty hard. I was in a collision while I was learning to drive, but the lie was that I was at fault, when in fact I had been rear-ended by a distracted driver. Also, my car was written off, so “turned out alright” is subjective. I’m an open car-hater, and frequent attendee of the fuckcars communities here on Lemmy, but I’m not so proud as to not put that on-hold for a teen going through Baby’s First Car Accident.

I keep both a Mastodon and a Lemmy account, but I absolutely love seeing posts from either platform on the other platform, because it reminds me of how cool the Fediverse is. I also sort of like that the posts end up formatted slightly differently because it means that you can tell that it’s interoperability in action, even if it feels strange at first go.

Symphonium, a music app for android (maybe also iOS, dunno). I’ve tried so many other apps for both local and remote music, none of them come even close - I particularly like the pre-caching and rolling cache features, as there are some places I go regularly where connection is spotty, and they allow me to stream pretty much uninterrupted from my subsonic server.

Can confirm it isn’t, I was also a user during that period, and still am, I haven’t had to update my docker image in a fair while.

You’d find the corpse of Who Jesus

We found 'em guys, the most pure leftist. All the other ideologies can go home I want whatever this is.

Trump does “worst coin flip ever”, asked to leave football stadium.

Well, look at this way. If I were being paid as little as they probably were to do what they were being asked to do whilst also not getting recognized for my contributions as a human and also being treated like machine by people who don’t even speak the same first language as me, I would probably put out pretty sloppy work too.

No, that’s Cartagena, Cortana is a region of Spain

There was a theoretical one I saw ages ago that was a giant cylinder rotating in space at close to the speed of light that had this limitation. I remember exactly zero details beyond physically what it was in the phrase “time cone”.
Seems like it’s probably the Tipler Cylinder
2112 does go fucking hard, Temples of Syrinx was one of my all-time favourite songs, and I listened to it for years on a bad audio system without being able to understand the lyrics properly. Once I started hearing them properly, though, it started feeling a bit sus (I’m a big lyrics person) which lead me to find the interview above. I’m glad to hear they’ve changed since then, though.
Had to go check this because I thought I was having a TIL but, while your point is basically correct, the word isn’t a portmanteau but rather means “baring or using a fake name (pseudonym)”
