I’m happy you found cool stuff to do but the investment is expensive… I see an electric vehicle, a kayak, and an electric bike. That’s thousands for the bike alone… Oh and that skate park requires a skateboard. Last I checked that’s a few hundred dollars.

There are cheaper ways to do what you’re doing of course but there’s also storage concerns. Not many people that are struggling financially have space to store an entire kayak…

I appreciate you trying to get it, but it’s pretty obvious that you don’t.

Oh, yeah, you’re completely right about Windows people usually complaining and Linux users usually praising! The issue with Linux is it’s not really needed for the average user and sort of a pain in the ass to learn how to do basic tasks. Using Linux just for bragging rights when you can do the same thing easier on another OS is just lame in my opinion.

I may change over one day but I would have to start using computers in my personal time more or it would be if I needed to change over for work. I work in IT. It’s not my passion, it’s a job. The last thing I want to do is hop on my computer in my free time.

I’m in no way shitting in Linux or their users, I know it has it’s place in the IT world and it’s awesome for remaining open source all these years!

Yeah but like, where do I even start, you know? Does a copy of the Linux OS come with a T-shirt? Recommendations on massive social media posts? Maybe a purchase of a big advertisement highway sign in the middle of your city?

Because as we all know, the most important thing about using Linux is how you’re going to tell anyone that listens that you use Linux. It’s just intimidating on how to go down that path, you know?

  • Hey look, this person’s kids are already more skilled at keeping their shit together than I am. Good job!

I completely agree with you! I have done this before but the bulk socks I bought were low quality so they wore out super quick getting holes in them. This caused me to revert back to my various branded socks… They were a brand that used to be good called Golden Toe. I used to use them when I worked in my feet all day because they were thicker and more durable. Not anymore apparently. I should do this again with better socks! Thanks for the advice.

  • IDK I felt the same til I used girlie repairing conditioner for a bit and my short hair became insanely soft! I never went back. Regular shampoo and high grade unscented conditioner advertised for women is the way to go! Then get some moisturizing body wash to help with dry skin (I like the coco butter stuff).

Those all in ones suck in comparison. Plus I don’t need an underlying smell of cheap cologne on my body… I have good cologne to wear.
