Localized effects have always been the goal, but actually making a drug that gets only to its intended destination, does a very specific thing, and doesn’t escape to the rest of the body is very hard, very expensive, very painful, or a combination of the three.

I recently cancelled my Spotify subscription and just downloaded all my music. It’s a bit of initial effort, but the experience is so much better.

I wonder how far will people need to be pushed before price and restrictions outweigh convenience.
